All-grain beer brewing can be a lengthy task. Heating water, mashing, sparging, boiling, and cooling can take the best part of an afternoon. But can the entire thing be done in a single hour? And if so, how would the beer turn out? Let’s find out!

Recipe: 2.5 gallons, 20 min mash, 20 min boil
3 lbs 8.0 oz Maris Otter
1 lbs 2-row American Pale Malt
8.0 oz Victory Malt
6.0 oz Caramel/Crystal Malt – 80L
2.0 oz Pale Chocolate
1.00 oz Fuggle Pellets [4.30 %] – Boil 20.0 min
0.50 oz East Kent Goldings (EKG)
1.0 pkg Scottish Ale (Wyeast Labs #1728)
